Pacemaker or no Pacemaker look what I’ll be buying next:
Disclaimer: If you don’t know anything about CDJs you are going to have no idea what I’m talking about here lol.
Pioneer are upping the levels right now, but they made a big mistake discontinuing the CDJ1000s in my opinion. The CDJ900s are pants and the CDJ2000s are just that little bit too expensive unless you’re a baller like Masta B Line lol. Amongst all the changes, the smoke has cleared and the CDJ850 seem to fit into my budget very nicely. I tested them out today at West End DJ (shout to Syfer & Richie F, NWR) and although a little ‘flimsy’ to me (is that even a real word?) I like the feel of them. A good replacement for the 1000s, something in between the 350s and 2000s, even though its missing the weight and rugged feel of the 1000s. But when you haven’t got a big budget and are slightly accident prone like lol me they will definitely do for the guy that is always on the go as you can pick up a pair with a good mixer for about £2000. Pukka! lol
